Report a Galveston Bay dolphin sighting

Have you seen dolphins in Galveston Bay or surrounding waters (Clear Lake, Trinity Bay, East Bay, Moses Lake, etc.)?

Check out the map of sightings submitting by other community members and add your sighting to our Citizen Science dolphin database by filling out the form below.

Dolphins are protected from harassment by the Marine Mammal Protection Act. It is illegal to approach, swim with, feed, touch, or chase wild dolphins. While boating, please stay at least 50 yards away and always follow dolphin safe viewing guidelines (pdf).

If you see an injured, dead or stranded dolphin, immediately call the Texas Marine Mammal Stranding Network at 1-800-9-MAMMAL
